Pumpkin Fest!

We went to the pumpkin patch back in October and Carter asked his friend Penny to come with us.  It was lots of fun and we ended up finding the perfect pumpkin for Carter.

Bath time

He isn't quite thrilled with bath time right now...he prefers to shower.  Such a big boy!  ;-)  But, he doesn't mind taking baths and he is so cute doing them!!

He much prefers chewing on his hand to getting clean.  Clean is overrated.  Especially the lotion part afterward.  He really doesn't think that is necessary.

Baby Food making party

Me and the girls on the street (Pri and Jaimi) decided that we needed to start making some baby food because our babes are going to be starting solids soon!  Well, Pri's little girl has already started, but Carter and Jaxson aren't there just yet. 

I am waiting until CEO is 6 months because that is what is recommended for babies to strengthen their digestive and immune systems so they're less likely to develop food allergies.  Which I, for one, know all about!  Growing up with practically every food allergy imaginable, I am hoping that Carter doesn't have the same poor luck that I did when it comes to food. 

He will be 6 months on Nov 7th and if his pediatrician says it's a go, then we will start solids.  :)  We made pumpkin, sweet potato, pears, and carrots.  I think that is a good start for now.  We have acorn squash and butternut squash sitting on the counter ready to be prepped as well. 

I'm excited for our new adventure coming up, but not so excited about the stinky poo.  I'm not gonna lie.

Real jean shorts

I thought these jean shorts were going to be too 'rough' on CEO's skin so I hadn't even put them on him.  But, when Jeff started dressing him in the mornings he put some outfits on I wouldn't have chosen and I'm glad he did.  These are my favorite little shorts on him!
