He wakes up happy.

This kiddo and his crazy hair.   Even Rockstar doesn't know what to think of it.

He woke up like this and I had to take about a million pictures.

Trying to sit on the ball-it didn't work out so well for him.

But it's ok because he figured out that if he puts it against the wall he can lean on it-which is almost as good.   And he is so smug about his achievements.

And this-it's his new thing.  I guess he is just trying to get a new perspective on the world sometimes.

And finally-rocking out.  He has great rhythm.   Well-not really but we won't tell him that.  :)

Serious about books

Check it-this is my serious face.

 I love my dad because he carries me.

I love my dad because he is big and strong.

Yep-that's about right baby boy.  :)  He loves this book and one day I hope he loves it because he realizes that it's all true.

Airplanes and boys

A remote control airplane?  COOL!!

Our street is a great launching pad for r/c airplanes.  Just enough of a hill for great take-offs and landings.  :)

Dad-it took off again!  I see it!  Over theeeeeere!

No-right there!

But then he was so nervous to touch it.  

But got over that mighty quickly.

And it took off again-just like that.  He was enthralled.

 Sometimes Carter stirs when he sleeps....and he ends up like this.

Eating out

We went shopping near Cherry Creek one day and stopped to grab a bite to eat.  I love watching this kid eat.  He is quite good at it.  Food doesn't stand a chance.

He isn't the most gracious eater.  

And he gets distracted a lot.

 And loves it when his daddy distracts him.  :)
