Carter goes swimming!

Ok, so technically Carter can't swim yet.  But he does like playing in the water with his dad!  Here we are getting ready to take our first dip.

The finishing touch

Carter's room is finally done!

The closet curtains are up!  I wanted to put these up instead of closet doors so they make less noise when being opened and closed and so the door to the room didn't hit the closet door when it was open.  I think they are fabulous!!  

My dad did a beautiful job hanging them up.  This was a project we had been putting off and I knew I couldn't keep doing that because my sister is coming to town at the beginning of September.  And I knew since she practically did the rest of the room she would want to see the completely finished project when she was here.  :)  *Phew.*  Just in the nick of time!

After Jeff's last bike race, where he took a day off, drove 100+ miles, and then was only able to race for 5 miles before he broke his chain and had to get a ride back.... He was feeling like he needed a little consoling...

So he borrowed Carter's sucker.

Although I think Carter likes it better when he gets it.  

Good thing Dad has big hands!

Hello World!!

I love that we live close enough that when we go over to each others houses we just bring the favorite sleeping item of the day along with us.  Life is really rough for these kids!

Swinging is hard work

Carter went for a little swing the other day in the neighbors swing.  Thank you Anabella for letting us borrow it for a while!  :)

He didn't quite fit so we had to snuggle him up with a blanket, and that worked like a charm.

So now every time Carter gets crabby we are just going to take him up the street and borrow their swing set.  Because this was the end result of the crabbiness.

And Jeff loves to tickle Carter with his own feet.  It makes him giggle!   Such a fun little game keeps him entertained for so long.  It's super adorable. 

New stuff? Heck yes!

Carter's Great Grandma Feaster bought him a brand new Pack N' Play and here he is taking it for a test drive.
